    JLR: Bob, I have been away. My bride has a new hip, and I have been her coach. I wanted to thank you for sharing your story. I must confess that it was both heart-wrenching and yet there sprinkled in pearls of possibilities. The dramatic end that I so wish I had been able to achieve was the delight in having a torn family gather so many years later and having learned to move forward in spite of life pits and hurdles and change. Incidentally. I have been asked many times where I got the name "Mastery" It's really sort of funny.

I quit writing between my days at Columbia College in 1967 until January of 2004 when I discovered Fanstory. At the time, my wife was having my office remodeled and I used the furnace room for an office. Lots of junk was stored in that room behind and around my makeshift desk. When FS asked me to give them a user name...I leaned back in my swivel chair...looked around and spotted a Master padlock hanging on a drawer. Honest to God.. That was it. LOL..And as Paul Harvey used to say. "Now you know the Rest Of the Story" Bob

    I just rad your post, that was tough luck healthwise. My big complaint over Christmas, was too damn many parties and guests dropping by. Sure seems trivial after reading about your problems.
    I decided not to write anything until we had taked down the Christmas Tree and all decorations. I did have to break that vow, several times. I forgot I had to write my name on the credit card receipt for every present, kids and grand kids not to forget the wife's
    Christmas presents.Get well and get Cleve back into action.
