Wils: Before joining Fanstory I knew one thing; I liked to write. Stories, poems, whatever it was just get the words on the page. I knew very little about the different types of poems or the proper format. Fanstory taught me that. Wils: I sent a 500 word piece to a magazine and just got my first rejection! Apparently too clunky in places. The writer's learning curve never ends.

Wils: I'm not asking people to understand poetry or even to appreciate it, but when your family reads your 5-7-5 and says they were expecting a "proper poem" then you start to wonder!!
