The topic for this contest is: "Lord, put me in there, I can do that better."
Write a story that incorporates the topic. The story has to be specifically about the topic. The story should clearly incorporate the topic into the story. You are watching TV, or at the movies, or watching something on your phone and you get so deeply involved that you scream, "Lord, Put me in there, I can do better than that" and you are wisked to the moment and get involved in the action.Incorporate this into your story and make it believable.
Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
Minimum length 900 words. Maximum Length 7,000 words. Recommended length 2,000 - 3,500 words.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 50.00 member dollars. There are 13 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 180.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
