Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
The first poem I ever penned.

by Angel Thompson

Alone in a room full of people,
screaming without making a sound.
Seeing nothing but shadows,
no solids holding them down.

Struggling to call focus,
straining to reach out.
Longing for movement,
the body is without.

Trapped in a place of darkness,
illuminated by despair.
Searching for an exit,
that exists nowhere.

Unable to block out,
the minds silent melodies.
Once cherished moments,
forever hostile memories.
