Ode To Our Friends

by Raffaelina Lowcock

We form our ways
in early days

From friends we’ve made along the way
The road we walked
the talk we talked

Their songs, our songs,
their books, our books,

They stay with us 'most every day
We don’t forget
nor do regret

The time we spent
nor where we went

Those treasured hours we whiled away
No greater pleasure in the end
Is there than our true treasured friends.
