Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

I do love how you can take an isolated incident from your life and add dialogue, build the characterizations, add some bits of your imagination, and delight your reader with your distictive humor. Love your Hill stories.

Truly a well written and fun fun fable, hw. Love the character of Jasper the crow ... Ido believe he might have a bit of the Orish under those feathers. I enjoyed this story../it's always fun to watch the royals get a bit of reality.

This would make a excellent Christmas book, hw. Love the story, and your imagination has always made me so glad I've been your fan for almost ten years. I love the idea of passing the job down to the hardest working elf next in line. And Santa and the Mrs deserve some warm climate and time together. Loved the story...oh, said that already.

McGreedy's Bar by humpwhistle

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Sometimes the past catches up enough it make anyone seek out the dark, drink, and hide.
Of course your story is exceptional, hw, with outstanding characters, a setting easy to picture, dialogue that brought these guys to life, some humor that made me smile, and a day story that wishes for more.

A dark bar, some Irish boyos, and a mystery ... enjoyed it very much.
Smiles,
Indy:-)

Love the picture with the head cut off! Do you have one or two pics like that? Your sense of humor makes the story so entertaining, hw...even to a munchkin like me.
So, at 6' 6", that would put me about to your ... gall bladder? You know how I love the Hill Family stories and this is loaded with great dialogue, hump-isms, and hilarious visions. Outstanding for sure! Best wishes in the contest.

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Your baseball stories are my favorite, hw...well, at least till your next Irish story, or Western, or Larry the Youngest, or...oh hell, you know I love all your stories. The details in this story provides great imagery, the and your experience playing pro ball gives the story a believable and entertaining edge. Loved the Taj My Own, the reality of bills, your use of baseball slang, and the farmer's scam. Did you ever live with a host family?
Looking forward to part 2. Why do I think he's not going to get the call?
Smiles,
Indy :-)

Moth and a flame...how can they resist the excitement of the heat? Well, at least for a fiery flash before they're zapped. Loved your metaphor, the perfect alliterations, and thanks for the entertaining poem. I weigh you the best of luck in the contest, hw.
