I absolutely love this poem! It is my prayer as well. The "speed like sparrows, wisdoms arrows" and "Lord let me draw from heaven's store" ... outstanding! Your writing is so prayerful and vivid. Such a wonderful flow and rhyme.

My new favorite author! I dig your style. This is a great piece and I like its light abstract. Great rhyming words too! I laughed when I saw the pic that accompanied your poem - lol! The smiling pig lolololl!

Great poem. The rhythm is very well done and the words are powerful - speech/reach, dreams/schemes. The ending is amazingly powerful and true. Outstanding.

Hahahahaha! Omg this is outstanding - I feel like I'm in Fred Meyer. Such a true narrative poem of what one goes through ... ugh, I hate grocery store lines!

Great job.

I love this artful work of words! I especially like the "use the water, engrave the face, embrace the shadow, there's no race" ... it's a deep flowing rhyme - I love it!

As always, beautiful work.

I have never read a freestyle poem before. It was a little hard for me to read at first because I'm used to rhyming poems. But I love your descriptions and the flow of the poem. Great job - especially because it's from the Holy Bible.

What a great Haiku! The way you describe the cheesecake - elegant, chocolate, blueberry ... makes the reader almost feel like they are eating it! Great job!

This is a great back-to-school poem! I love the joyfulness of it - "happy smiling faces." This is a beautiful contrast to the sadness of the bad things that have happened to our elementary schools in past years.

I especially like how you began the poem with "happy" and ends with "joyful".

Great job.
