To Write or Not To Write by Reese Turner

I fully empathize with every single word that you wrote. It is often better to let one's self out in writing than keep everything bottled in until a fuse blows out. You deserve to win this contest. Keep writing...

Now that was colorful indeed and I'd so much wish to send this to someone who deserves the message... if that someone could appreciate real talent.
You have a gift with words indeed.
Thanks a million for posting.

haiku (crows gather) by Mrs. KT

The double meaning of the word 'murder' was unknown to me until now. Even without it the haiku is perfect. Took me straight to a Sherlock Holmes-like feeling. Well deserved winning.

And Then There Were None... by karenina

A very impressive narrative gift as an overall impression, with minor hitches ( children's imprints could have been made before they died)

I didn't notice it was a non fiction contest entry until the end, which makes it even more scary, if possible, but I got caught up and I'm a fan, though supernatural isn't my type. One other detail caught my eye: if the house burned to the ground, how were the children found in a bedroom upstairs? Or why wasn't there any trace of foundations? I guess it belongs to the supernatural side of story.
Very well written indeed.
Thanks for posting.

She Lived on Rhododendron Hill by Eternal Muse

With regards to the rhythm, verse and imagery, it is as near to perfection as humanly possible. As for the message, I'm not quite sure. A sophisticated, well travelled lady with a big heart and many stories to tell, who lived on Rhododendron Hill,and...?
I'm not a poetry writer, honestly, but I love reading poetry, especially if it conveys a message, or a lesson. Nevertheless, a very good read. I will come back to read more.
Well done.

For my Twin Brother's Girlfriend by rama devi

Sometimes good things happen to good people, as is the case with your twin. The rhyming is flowing naturally, which tells that you're a gifted poet, even in the smallest of poetry forms (8 syllables per each line, I believe it's called a 'trochaic octameter').
Well done.
