If you haven't read Evelyn Fort Stewart's story, you have missed an epic accounting of a woman who dared brave all elements of spousal abuse and survived 87 years to tell the story.

It takes a lot of fortitude and inner-faith to tell the world of events in your life that are humiliating and robbed you of your self-esteem.

Lady Evelyn related this story with fantastic, down-to-earth images that make the readers shake their heads in wonder and awe.

As her birthday approaches, allow me to say, I have grown a deep fondness for this brave woman who is a wonderful writer. We are lucky to have her in our midst.

Happy Birthday, Evie! May you have many more.

With true love, Your friend, Bob
