true story
"Life's funny bits" by trimple

Natalie, my niece, adores her long-haired Alsatian and he clearly loves her too. He's called Bowsley, and every afternoon after school, he waits by the front door when she's due to walk in. On this particular day, Natalie went straight upstairs and the dog followed her. My sister Jayne was a bit suspicious after a while as they'd been doing this all week. No hello, Mum. Nothing, until they came back down, both smiling, ten minutes later...

So on this afternoon, her mum crept up the stairs to see what the two of them were up to. There they were, in the bathroom. Natalie sitting on the toilet with the seat down and the dog sat in front of her with his mouth open, as cool as a cucumber whilst Natalie brushed his teeth with her mum's toothbrush. She had apparently seen a clip on youtube. Jayne yelled at her about using her toothbrush on the dog, to which Natalie replied, 'I've washed it afterwards. Every time!'
