SPANK.
HIT.
"Please stop!" the children wail.
"No!" snaps the woman in charge. "Not until you're perfect! You mustn't make even one wrong move! Now stand straight! Let's review:

Slap: Brush your tap shoe away from you.
Spank: Brush it toward you.
Hit: Step down hard.
Now try again!"

Years ago, there was a radio contest in which listeners would call in and give three words they used regularly in their jobs, and the DJ had three tries to guess their profession. So I called in with these, and the DJ guessed 1) Daycare worker
2) Prison guard
3) Stay-at-home mom.
[OY!!!]
He said he was relieved to hear that I was a tap dance teacher!
