what is his worth
"shall I let him in" by Colin Lowley
Where have you come from, kind sir?
Thou frosty and cold when it is hot,
do you mean me harm, be you villain?
Be you friend who needs love from us,
Should we entertain a vagrant such as you?
Or have hard times brought you to our door,
Where no other would see a shadow of a man?

What say you, friend or foe?

"I find it hard to say what hides in my heart,
I have come from afar from love I depart,
I wandered alone and saw night and day,
water and bread kind sir, yet I cannot pay"

You are welcome lone stranger come hither this way,
over a squalid floor on that our dog does lay,
take a seat and rest and pass your coat to me,
then I shall rob your wares and kill you hehe!
