This work has reached the exceptional level
versing together happily ever after
"Poetic Vows" by Ronni
Dearly beloved Poets and Writers all
we are gathered here together
to join another poet and muse
in tremulously peaked anticipations
of poetic enraptures of matrimony

"I, Poet, take you, my Muse, for my
creatively blessed gift, to treasure and serve
from first inspiration forward, for visions in verse,
in writer's block and blight of rhymes sought
with or without fame, to nurture and flourish
with my words, in deepest dedication in forefront,
till last sentences and phrases, do us part"

"If any assembled can cite cause, why
this Poet and Muse, should not be enjoined
in abiding poetry forever, write it now, or
forever hold your pen."

We hope this will be their life's page of
whirlwind of sacred, secret dreams
in blissfully awakening spirits of
vibrant, euphoric hues of poetic
harmonies, poet and muse, cherishingly
bond in sealed in soul's kiss and
serenading hearts deepening assimilations

All are welcome to feast on Post Ceremony delights:
Generous servings of verse by the slice from huge
manuscript cake, toasting from dual ink wells of
cheerfully intrigued bubbly spirits. Splurge on noun
eclairs, verb blintze's, adverb scones, adjective pin wheels,
entertained by dancing quills alighting charmingly
about this jubilant celebration and auspicious reception
Cheers! Cheers! Joyous toasts with one and all!

Poem of the Month contest entry

Author Notes
It has been said by some, that sometimes poet and muse are like a wedding akin
to a mortal couple, except here imaginatively conveyed in paraphrased in typical
wedding vows exchanged. Some poets, writers, have cited they often feel as
married to their poetic avocation and muse, in similarity their real life marriages.

Pays one point and 2 member cents.
