Another chalk outline in The Twilight Zone
"The Sniper" by Mark Valentine

James Quarry relaxed in his brown leather recliner. He didn’t mind the quarantine. It meant more time for his favorite show, The Twilight Zone. He loved the idea of a “middle ground between light and shadow”. Tonight, they were airing a ‘lost’ episode, “The Sniper”, starring Charles Bronson in the title role. His mission was to assassinate an unsuspecting target with a contagious disease before he could escape, possibly infecting millions.

James watched intently as the sniper trained his scope on the head of the man in a brown leather recliner. He pulled the trigger.

Then the screen went black.
