Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
The brightness of our life.
"Our Blessed Light" by Raffaelina Lowcock

Of light, there is no equal
And yet it can be said
There’s much of it in all we see
We are blessed with light.

Nothing can compare to the true light
That helps us through the day and night
And settles ‘round the sun at sundown
With its awesome array of stunning colors

The light that beams upon us every night
From the moon's orb and the sparkling stars
And the artificial light which is the treasure
That's been invented for our endless use.

We are blessed with light.

Author Notes
Light in my nightly prayer.

Bestow upon me Eternal Spirit
Light when darkness comes
Light not of the sun but of the soul
Not for the eyes, but for the mind
Light by which to judge
The errors and the wisdom of a day's work
Light for the path the soul must find
In the tangled ways of the coming days

This is for the Free Verse Challenge - Light.
