Chapter 1 of the book Carmen' s Poetry Book
A poem for people that suffer from anxiety during Covid
"Anxiety" by Carmen Ducharme
I feel like I am suffocating
Put in a box
Like an animal locked in a cage
Trying to control this lingering rage
What do they expect of me ?
Through my eyes they can not see
All these demons
That are attacking me
They are in my head
They are in my mind
They are torturing me all the time
Why won't they let me be
They are driving me insane
Save me from this insanity
Open these doors that keep me trapped inside these walls
Before I fall
And cant find my way back
Back home to the normalcy
Were my mind and my body are "Free"!

The book continues with Winter Chill. We will provide a link to it when you review this below.
