The dead come to life
"Halloween Night" by Mia Twysted

Once a year, we come out to play
We walk among you bearing no shame
we reach out of the shadows
our darkness embraced
We live in the moonlight
as if it were sun on our face

We watch how you mock us
with no regret or remorse
tell falsehoods about us
that warn and alert
protecting your children
from our type, our sort

But this be the night the dead come to life
we dance in the graveyard, we walk in the street
we mean not to return the children we keep
So say your good-byes and kiss their cheeks
for the goodness inside is suddenly weak

We turn angels to demons
on this blessed night
Oh, Halloween
the birthnight of fright
