Pandemic
Precautions need heeding
Washing hands, wearing masks, distancing
Thought needed
For those alone, locked down
A phone call, or card, posted in town
Ninety four
Birthday, but no one there
Flowers to admire and cakes to share

Author Notes
Thanks to VMarguarite for subtle distancing illustration.
