A Sonnet
"Uncle Scrooge" by Dolly'sPoems
Oh how I loved him so, my Uncle Scrooge,
before he was obsessed by hoarding gold;
to beggars on the street he would be rude--
all those without a penny, young and old.

Of ghosts he dreamt, the past and present haunted,
he started to regret his path in life.
Was it too late to change, and be exalted?
Now could the future turn out to be bright?

On Christmas morn he jumped for joy and fervour,
he realised, life had to be enjoyed;
he changed his ways, became a true converter,
was generous to those he had employed.

My Uncle Scrooge became a famous man,
so try transforming like him, if you can.
