Jesus sometimes comes to me
On a bright sunbeam
Peeping through the clouds
Bringing joy all around.
He dances on my shoulder
Dark clouds move away
Sunbeam gets bolder
Jesus has much to say.
He likes to tell me stories
Of prodigal sons,
Times of great glory
When again he will come.
Clouds returned this evening
Sunbeam goes asleep
Daytime is fleeing
May my soul Jesus keep.
