A twist on time
"A Wrinkle in Time" by Susan Larson
Today I heard the weatherman say
This year we have an extra day.
But 2/29 is not it
And here's the reason behind his wit.
Consecutively counting, 2/29
Is number 60 on the year's time line.
Keep on counting to the end
And today's 366, comprehend?
One more day beyond 365
A clever concept to contrive!
So, use this day to have some fun
Before we start over with number one.
Just playing around with reason and rhyme
Could we call this "a wrinkle in time?"

Author Notes
I just heard this on the weather report about two hours ago and banged this out just for fun. It's unpolished but I wanted to get it out there before time was up and it became irrelevant.
