"Lost And Found" by Patty Palmer



He walked up the street, turning his head back and forth, as though he was looking for something or someone special. He strained to peer into every car that went by. He was so intent that he almost walked into the path of a lady walking her dog.

Finally, he turned and walked back the way he had just come, head down and his shoulders sagging in defeat. How could he face going home without Bella, his six-year-old daughter?

Walking into the house, a little voice screamed, "Daddy, I'm right here! I was lost but I found myself."
