I started programming November 1963. After designing an artificial Ego (Cogitator) in 1995, I knew how we all operate our bodies. Have fun is my motto and "Always Be Happy, Never Be Satisfied" is my mantra.

He wondered if she would check her purse after she woke up. She usually didn't. He had been caught stealing before and wound up on the street.

The withdrawal pains started bending him over. He couldn't wait. He drew forty dollars from the wallet after lifting the purse furtively from her side of the bed. His heart throbbed from fear and adrenaline.

He was out the door in minutes and headed for the subway.

He knew the route too well. He was more worried about his treatment by his bros. Last time, he had flashed some cash and wound up bloodied in the alley. The heroin crowd isn't predictable.

"Hey, dude, whazzup?"
"Need a fix, bro. How much?"
"Whaddaya got?"
"Family fortune is 40 bucks. That's four hits."
"I set the price, Bucko. Hand it over. Here's your fix."
"But, this is only one!"
"Bug off. You'll be dead soon."
