A bird in my house
"The Little Bugger" by Willie P. Smith
A bird got in my house today,
I tried my best to shoo it away.

The little cuss flew from room to room,
I had to go get my broom.

I didn't want to hurt the little thing,
I had to be careful with my swing.

I opened my doors, so it could fly out,
But the little bugger was having fun, no doubt.

Friends and family say I'm mellow,
But I was getting angry with this little fellow.

It flew into my bedroom and landed on my bed,
It pooped on my pillow, where I lay my head.

I was thinking murder, somehow it knew.
It found the open door and away it flew.

It landed in my backyard tree,
Looking down and laughing at me.
