Chapter 20 of the book Psalms Of Spring
An ode to iris.
"Royal Flowers"
by dellsworthpoet
|
The
iris
come to bloom
with stands and falls.
April's crowning glory
inspired France's Fleur de Lys,
a festive flower of regal gracefulness,
indeed it is the nobility of Spring's court.
Grander than the tulips and daffodils
it states Spring has reached its glory.
From deserts to marshes
various types
now unfurl,
grace the
land.
