A short bit of lore.
"Irishman's Death" by dellsworthpoet

A cold, moonless night was a shroud about the wood. Heavy fog chilled the surreal atmosphere. Even stars dimmed. Gray clouds scuttled in the cosmos.

A scream filled the air. I saw the banshee in ragged black. Her eyes met mine. My soul felt a chill and hollowness.

The sound of hooves rang. Came a black coach, with a black team. A headless driver in an ebony garb hissed my name. The sound died. Now I’m only known as corpse.
