Look to the right of the guy who votes and chases money,
wearing the hottest name brands nervously,
desperate to impress, ignoring the scenery,
wondering how he can exploit humanity,
hoping folks won't need his energy,
who isn - more...

Indiana's Skies

Indianairish, with her whip and quill and heart
has shown amongst us, conjuring a garden full of art
which shares her wondrous spirit in the posts we read as we
are moved to love her endlessly, and see her for who she
is inside. Each post supplies more evidence to see
exactly what is moved, that makes her muse, our minstrelsy.

She has a soothing way about her that begins with care
and writes to us as if she wants to help. She's quick to share
and when she posts she shows her ghost; a timeless friend, and fair;
a junkie for the lightning bolts that tear apart the air
forcing the living down below to notice they're up there.

An Indiana haiku is a read of rainbow-thought
for passion drenches every word, each letter's in a spot
that gives away her song's sachet, lest such a tune be lost
and such a heart be overlooked by time's torn tempests, tossed.

An Indiana Senryu is funny, wrought with wit,
and laughter that has filled the rooms wherein Fanstorians sit
has proven that each evening for so long it must be known
a princess of pure poetry is being Fanstorian grown

as we remind her in reviews each time she posts her soul
and shares with us the imagery of all the babes she holds
and gives us something to believe or to relate to when
we mostly need to read the voice we know now as a friend
because she lets us know we're hers, when she takes to her pen
or clicks the keys that weaken knees beneath her diadem.

She has a lust for life and shoves it all into each tale
and vexes and perplexes us with mysteries that sail
across the landscapes she is glad to write of, in the rain,
and has the kind of heart you're glad has just that kind of brain.

A clever storyteller,
and a surgeon of fine prose -
she hears the call to write within
and feels it in her bones.

She shines behind a legacy
of beauty
writ in stone.

An Indiana passage
is a thrill-ride o'er a dome
that beats upon a sea of drums
that lull a reader home.
She will not leave her quill at rest
while she can dream up poems!

Thank you, Indiana,
for the imagery you weave;
it makes us better people,
gives us reason to believe
in writers who still write because
they LOVE to write
and for
all you pour into your poems,
for we want more
and more,

and thank you for not holding back,
for looking past the shores
for showing us what's out there,
in you,
where your dragons roar!

For such didactic commentary,
such poignant artwork too,
basically, just thank you, friend,
for always being YOU!

Your fans are dedicated
to the things you say and do,
and I for one will cherish you,
forever. Know that's true!

Please take a bow
and write some more
before the night is through.
