 ABOUT
ROBERT LOY GONZALEZ

Living life

Portfolio | Become A Fan
Clashing into the sand,
Looking up and can not stand.

Dazing off into confusion,
Awakening into disillusion.

What had happen to my flight?
Only the sun at its height.

Seeing the broken wings,
and hearing the sands- lonely sing.

The piercing mists of the Sahara,
Blowing bursts of sand into my face.
Causing intensified euphoria.
Yet again can not stand or keep a pace.

Clinching my fists
Into this abyss.

Willing to prevail,
and swearing not to fail.

Standing up-right
And beginning to fight.

Walking across the desert inferno
That surely was the most difficult hurdle.

While thinking of a plan,
skin is burning past a tan.

How far could it be?-
to safely earn my freedom key.

Hours of this vigorous path,
has lead me to my inevitable laugh.

Civilization is in my sight,
for I have won my right for life.
Never forgetting this testing fight.
For it could have been- the end of life.
