I hope the reader knows I'm having fun here with several allusions.
The title refers to a famous ballet.
Most readers, I'm sure, are familiar with the fable of the ugly duckling who eventually turned into a beautiful swan.
In Greek mythology Narcissus was a hunter who saw his reflection in the water, fell in love with it, could not leave and died.
"Narcissistic" means to have excessive self-love.
