Chapter 11 of the book Uplifting the Down Trodden
This poem is about two men - Adam and Jesus
"One Man" by GE Parson
ONE MAN -Romans 5:12, 14

Through just one man,
All future humanity infected,
Through just one man,
All fellowship with God disconnected.
Through just one man,
All future humanity cursed by death,
Through just one man,
No longer peace, joy and rest.
Through just one man,
Anger, bitterness, rebellion and murder,
Through just one man,
Pain, cruel suffering, young, old & toddler.
Through just one man,
Into Sin death and hell,
Through just one man,
All humanity fell.

ONE MAN -Romans 5:18, 19

Through just one Man,
All humanity forgiven!
Through jut one Man,
All humanity offered justification!
Through just one Man,
Upon Him all our sin was laid,
Through just one Man,
All our sin debt fully paid.
Through just one Man,
Grace and mercy merged together,
Through just one Man,
In Heaven, you can live forever.
This poem is about two men; Adam the father of humanity,
Who by disobedience to God, cursed us all with sin.
Jesus Christ who through obedience to God lifted that curse.
By G.E. Parson

"Wherefore as by one man, sin entered into the world, and death
by sin: and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." Romans 5:12

"For as by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners;
So by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous" Romans 5:19

"Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1
