One is too much, ten not enough.

"Hey Buddy, you want another round?"
I nodded. I had been clean for almost nine months until the siren called me and lured me back. I couldn't go home; Wanda was at her breaking point.
Tomorrow I would anguish and thirst, but tonight I feed.
So many times I have tried to break free from the fetters and shackles that contain me. The Demon always comes back to reclaim what is His. Slow and cunning, he tricks me into submission.
Maybe in a week I will plot my escape again.
Perhaps tonight my prison sentence will end.
