Chapter 17 of the book Let's Laugh 5
my friends
"Did You Find Yourself?" by Barb Hensongispsaca
I've friends on site that I won't name
but every one has right to fame.
I want to take this special time
to thank them for their help with rhyme.

So many on here have my back,
I'm glad their patience they don't lack.
There's one that keeps my meter right,
another keeps my flow so tight.

There's one that sings their piece to me,
another writes of being free.
There's one that talks of peace and war,
another bleeds hard to their core.

One writes of Knights and damsels fair,
and one of God and faith and prayer.
One writes of hate and group unrest;
one writes of wizard's jeweled quests.

One writes of love and sex and...things.
One writes of trust and diamond rings.
One writes of hist'ry, past and new.
One writes of kids who learned what's true.

One writes to just stir up unrest,
another writes of being blessed.
One writes some short but forceful things,
another to see thoughts it brings.

But one inspires more than the rest,
he puts my patience to the test.
He never rates me more than four
and tells me not what it was for.
