Brightly shines it's beam of light
The rocks and reefs are treacherous
Captains peering through the night
Fighting waters oh so perilous
Hail, now the light the fog doth hide
For ere landlubbers go to bed
Too late for calm and gentle tide
The lighthouse watches ore the dead

Another attempt at a contest... At least they provide great subject matter.... that helps when you can't think of anything on your own.... My muse has definitely gone on vacation.
