Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
Poe style way of quieting the neighborhood.
"The Noisemaker" by Alec Gould
I knew a man once,
He liked to make noise,
Every day he liked to make noise,
This man I once knew.
It didn't matter how,
Nor the time of day or night
He liked to make noise
He thought it "alright".
Cars, trucks, motorcycles,
As long as it was loud
This man I once knew was happy
And looked so very proud.
Today, while the birds sing and the neighbors smile
It is quiet now,
And has been for a while.
The man I once knew
Has relocated to such a little place,
No room for noisemakers,
Just a tiny mirror in front of his face.
And even though the man I once knew is screaming...
In my neighborhood,
Smiles abound
For one cannot hear screaming
From six feet down.
