A psychopath regrets their act after the fact.
"When Violence is the Wrong Choice" by Lance Polin

It was all I ever thought about, killing her. Every time I looked into her eyes I could see it, the seething violence I wanted to unleash. After she was dead I started missing her. She was my one true love. She was everything I want. What have I done?

Guilt Flash Fiction - 50 Words writing prompt entry

Writing Prompt
Write a story of exactly 50 words about the topic of guilt. Any genre is acceptable. Title not part of word count.

Author Notes
The author likes doing these limited word pieces and finds the specificity a comforting exercise, learning brevity. It helps to scale back from the sometimes large, grandiose and quite arrogant statements all writers are prone to make sometimes. I hope this one fulfills that dictum, regardless of how intentionally pompous (and much wordier) this silly side commentary is.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
