Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
a rispetto
"The lowway man" by LIJ Red
Do not set foot on Moorland trace
when winter moon is full and high
a faceless rider swings a mace
and all who meet him surely die.

He grips the heft in iron glove
and seeks the squire who stole his love.
He slays in fury on and on
though guilty pair are dead and gone.

Author Notes
Rispetto two iambic tetrameter quatrains abab ccdd rhymes, with an archaic word in it for potlatch.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
