Stop confusing the fish! They're watching...
"Chuck and Nan go fishing." by Robert Zimmerman
When Chuck and Nan procured a boat,
they rowed it out to sea.
They took it out to catch the prize
that’s big as it could be.
But something happened, as they sailed,
that made the anglers sad.
Since Nan had worn high heels that day,
it prompted something bad.
She stomped around inside the boat.
Her heel then made a hole.
The water rushed into the skiff,
and Chuck said, “O my soul.”
He said, “I have to save the ship,”
with hammer in his hand.
He smashed another hole in back
and said, “Let’s head to land!”
Nan said, “Hey Chuck you silly boy,”
as she stood by her spout.
“Why did you punch a hole back there?”
“To let the water out!”
