I pass these horses every day
"The field" by Colin Lowley
In a field near me, these horses appear free,
this morning they now graze, in a summer haze,
for me it's into work on a computer that hurts,
in my spare time I paint, hence this landscape so quaint.

I have put it on my wall surrounded in a frame,
the horses in a field, wish for me the same,
to draw and paint as life becomes faint,
is what's in store for me, my late in life legacy.

I have not forgot the poetry, as they do aid,
the painting on my wall and memories that fade,
life looks good right now, creating and capturing thus,
what takes to my eye in our busy daily rush?
