"Snow Flurries Haiku" by CrystieCookie999
snow flurries, anxious,

5-7-5 Poem contest entry

Author Notes
Flurry can be either a noun or verb, according to Webster dictionary online. I am using 'flurries' as a verb. Two alert reviewers pointed out there might be some confusion. So the snow both 'flurries' and 'swirls' in present verb tense. That means that I am creating 's' consonance with the s at the end of 'flurries,' 'anxious,' 'swirls,' 'nervous,' and 'parakeets.'
