Better to laugh than cry
"A Tale of Two Legs"

Ol' Fritz was late to lunch at Thorny Rest Home. He couldn't seem to work his legs.
His Navy bud, Gunny, came to check on him. "Fritz, grub's on. Shake a leg."
"Would if I could, ya ol' scalawag!" His slow shuffle continued.
Gunny took his arm.
"I'm fine!" But stairs were difficult.
After lunch, Fritz needed a nap. Helping him upstairs, Gunny found him unable to lift his legs.
"Yore worse!" Gunny called for a nurse.
Under protest, Fritz was carted off to a Hospital, where the doctor discovered he had both legs in one leg of his shorts.
