Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
reflecting on 2 Chronicles
"Solomon" by Ross E Silke
Solomon, in all God's wisdom
Built God's temple . . . of Lebanon's cedar overlaid with pure gold
Adorned with the finest golden furnishings and pomegranates
Nothing compared to all it told

The Queen of Sheba begged to know
What was behind all the golden ways
To cause Solomon to be so greatly arrayed
With the fabric of the most royal purple rays

But God's wisdom in Solomon surpassed the karats
And the precious stones that outlaid the rest
Even the wings of the cherubim that stretched many widths
Were not wide enough to outdo the wisdom God foreknew

In him

~
Where the real temple of God is in our hearts
We can make just as beautiful inside by reading His word
Then God will find a resting place in us like he did in Solomon's temple
Inside hearts of pure gold where His ark can rest within each and everyone

In the temple of our souls
