Comforting someone who is sad.
"Inside" by Justin Chopin

Are you feeling rotten inside?

Are you concealing your anguish with a smile?

Are you being beaten down by your pride?

Are you ashamed of sins that you've held on to for such a long while?

Well I know how you are feeling.

Because my shortcomings have me wailing as loudly as you.

But now I know that with God there's a better way of dealing.

With the nightmares of your past that you just can't seem to get through.

You've got to relax and breathe some fresh air into your body.

You've got to realize that Jesus desires to free you of all of this pain.

Pour out your sorrowful soul to the Lord giving Him all of your misery.

Let His mercy and grace soothe the melancholies that have been attacking your brain.

Now accept your Lamb giving yourself to Jesus as His child.

Come to your Messiah, my brother, and be revived by His holy name.

For you are loved by your Heavenly Father and no longer have to run so wild.

For in Christ you will no longer face any condemnation or shame.

Smile and rejoice and laugh!

You are no longer a broken young man.

For you have been made into a new creation, a masterpiece of your Creator's salvation

Made complete in His holy hands.

Author Notes
In these times of chaos most people have some form of sadness. I wrote this piece for people to have hope that Christ can soothe the pains of their broken hearts and mend them together once again.
