This work has reached the exceptional level
Getting back to where I started
"Revel in Sunshine, Dance with Jo" by equestrik
I have clawed myself up,
From some pretty low places.
I have fought and battled,
And evolved to almost where I began.

For we begin our lives knowing life is magic,
As young children, we exist in the joy of being,
And we know the wonder and the miracle,
That the world we exist in truly is.

We believe that superheroes are real,
As are the monsters, under our beds.
We know if we don a cape, and shoot with our fingers,
We too have superpowers and surely can fly.

And we promise that we will someday save the world.
Or at least eliminate that pesky under-bed monster.
We know we are here for a purpose,
And we awake each day with the excitement of that mission.

And so on the dusty dirt roads of my travels,
Each step brings me back to those childhood truths.
That the universe was indeed created for me,
To revel in sunshine, and dance with joy as I go.

Though a rucksack in my soul carries secrets,
That along with me will one day be gone.
An imaginary cape holds dear the magic,
And the belief that I still might just change the world.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
